Bossa: UPC Delegates’ Conference Still On

The Jimmy Akena led faction of the Uganda Peoples’ Congress (UPC) has accused Dr Olara Otunnu of surrendering the party’s leadership to the wrong people when he stepped down in May. Otunnu appointed his vice Joseph Bossa as care taker president till he organizes a delegates’ conference by 16th July 2016.
But Joseph Bossa defended his failure to organize the conference, telling NBS in a phone interview that he is still meeting with various stakeholders to decide on the date and venue for hosting the party’s delegate’s conference.
