Mbabara Business Community Disappointed in Bank of Uganda

The business community in Mbarara district has expressed disappointment with Bank of Uganda, accusing them of failing to regulate the high interest rates charged by commercial Banks. These say the high rates on loans constitute one of the major challenges hindering their business growth.
