Stanbic Bank Posts Growth in 1st Half of 2016

The banking sector has dismissed claims that the growth of the telecom sector in areas of banking is likely to see the main stream banks limping as many people seem to prefer having their money on mobile phones.
This follows the just launched Mokash mobile product by MTN where customers will save and get loans using mobile phones. Patrick Mweheire, the Stanbic bank Chief Executive says Telecom Companies are partners to Banking institutions who are all working towards financial inclusion for all people.
