Kaweesi Appointment as Uganda Police Communications Boss

The start of the week came with the announcement that the Uganda police force was having a change of guard in its public relations department with Assistant Inspector General of police Andrew felix kaweesi taking over as the force’s spokesman. It is the first time the office is being held with an officer of this rank.
His appointment comes at a time when the force is under spotlight for using excessive force while executing its duties which is contrary to the laws that govern police.
