Uganda risk losing investors to regional member states, if unending land squabbles involving locals and investors are not addressed. Locals in Mpererwe, a Kampala suburb are currently fighting over ownership of the prime 9.5 acres of land with Medard Kiconco, a local investor. The locals are also opposed to the construction of the one billion dollar plant.
