Is Merging of Makerere University Classes Feasible?

The big question tonight is …can Makerere University with the existing infrastructure accommodate the 40,000 students under one program?
Currently the university has 24,000 students on the evening program and 16,000 on the day program.
But after lecturers laid down their tools saying they will only teach students signed up for the day programme, the university authorities have decided to merge all the students into the day programme. Our reporter Richard Olweny examines the implications of this possibility of this merger.
