Jeje Ondong Applauds Police

The minister of internal affairs Gen. Jeje Odong has laughed off claims that the Uganda police force has become an extension of the NRM regime, thus being used as a tool to suppress the opposition. The minister says that the force has only become effective at doing its work. The minister wants more funding to facilitate police work as well improving the welfare of the officers
