Local Government Present Fake Accountability

Many local governments are presenting misstatement of contracts for works and fake accountability for work and activities.
The Local Government Accounts Committee of Parliament that has been doing work in Mbale reports that 17 local government administrative units within Mbale region are faced with incomplete works, delayed works that deny people critical services.
This is partly attributed to widespread abuse of office, incompetence, mismanagement and corruption in local governments;
