Millions at Risk of Trachoma in Karamoja

Close to 1.5 million people in Karamoja are at high risk of getting infected with tropical disease trachoma. The situation which is attributed to the poor sanitation and lack of water in most parts of Karamoja is worrying experts. Trachoma is an eye illness that causes a roughening of the inner surface of the eyelids.
