Education Budget for FY 2017/18 Slashed

The education sector will see its budget for the 2017/18 financial year slashed as government grapples to fund other priority areas.
The sector, the second highest recipient of tax payer’s money over the last few years will see its fortunes reduce by at least sh 115 billion. This was revealed this morning during the discussion of the sector’s Budget Framework paper for the next financial year.
