Papal Visit Media Coverage

On November 23rd 2015, Government declared NBS TV the official host broadcaster for Pope Francis’ visit to Uganda which had been scheduled for the same weekend.
On a very short notice, Government had put up an International bid to all media houses both local and international to compete and win rights to produce and carry footage during the Pope’s 3 days visit in Uganda.
This was done within just 10 days
