Makerere University Closure Update

There have been sharp disagreements between the Makerere University council and MUASA over payment of their allowances in a haste meeting that lasted for hours today evening at University senate. According to sources the council stood its gun claiming they have no budget to clear all their arrears. However, the meeting reached a compromise position although there Is no clear date when the University is reopening.
