Acute Water Shortage Hits Kotido

An acute water shortage has once again hit Kotido district leaving many vulnerable families walking long distances to access water. Local water vendors are now taking advantage of the situation; increasing the price of a 20 litre jerrycan of water from 200 to 2000 shillings. There are now fear that this could trigger a series of hygiene related problems.
