Lagarde Visit to Save Economy – Dr. Muhumuza

The visit of IMF’s managing Director Christine Lagarde, is being viewed by economic experts as one that might encourage policies that will revamp Uganda’s struggling economy. Senior Economist Dr. Fredrick Muhumuza says her visit is timely especially at a time when Uganda is looking to China for financial support, unconditional funding that could have lasting implications on the country’s economy.
