Curbing Illicit Alcohol Production

Players in the breweries sector are calling upon Parliament to speed up the passing of the Alcohol bill 2016 to save Ugandan from consuming illicit Alcohol. Local breweries say that lack of stringent laws regulating the sale and consumption of Alcohol is financially constraining Ugandans. A latest survey released by Nile Breweries, indicate that illicit Alcohol production is larger than legal production in volume.
