Minister Calls for Increased Power Generation

The State Minister for Privatization and Investment Evelyn Anite has called for increased power generation to meet the power demands of the mushrooming industries. Minister Anite is now urging the Uganda Electricity Generation Company to increase power generation from 850 megawatts to over 1000 megawatts. She says industries are increasing yet power Generation remains the same.
