Deforestation Impacting Negatively on Kalangala Tourism

Time immemorial, Kalangala Island on Lake Victoria has been a tourist destination attracting both domestic and foreign tourists because of its natural endowments. Endowed with rain forests, wild bird spices and wild animals, the 84 island tourists’ destination has had most of its natural forests encroached on. The National association of professional environmentalists is now warning that the attraction faces extinction.
