Uganda-Japan Relations: Japan Funds Nine Piped Water Facilities In Eastern

The Uganda Government has signed a billion dollar agreement with Japanese government that will pave way for the construction of nine piped rural water supply facilities in the Lake Kyoga basin. The facility will benefit selected communities in the nine rural areas of Nambala, Naigobya, Kyanvuma, Kameke and Buseta in Eastern Uganda.
