Can 2017/2018 Budget Revamp the Economy

Uganda’s 2017/2018 Budget will have to be bold to pull the country out of the prevailing difficult economic environment. Budget expert Julius Mukunda says that the new budget is to be implemented at a time when the country’s economic growth has stagnated. But despite this, taxes will be needed to ensure that government revenues rise to fund the shillings 29 trillion budget. Nelson Babyale reports
