Makerere University Academic Staff Association (MUASA) speaks out on the kind of leader the institution should have in the wake of continued strikes that have characterized the country’s epitome of academic excellence.

As the University gears up to choose the next vice chancellor, senior academicians at the University say students’ welfare, demotivated staff and other financial challenges should be the core of the task ahead.
