Self Medication a Common Practice, What Are the Risks?

The syndrome of self medication is eating up the country’s health sector. UGANDA is one of the few countries where anybody walks into a drug shop or pharmacy and asks for any drug without a doctor’s prescription and it is sold to them.
In fact few people even ever stop to question the qualifications of those selling them the drugs
The question is, how sure are we that the drug being asked for or being sold to us are the right drugs
