River Rwizi Drying Up

Residents of Mbarara Municipality and officials of the National Environment Management Authority have called for the cancellation of all land titles illegally acquired in the catchment areas for River Rwizi. The river – the only permanent water source in the sub region is drying up fast largely due to encroachment.
