KCCA ED Ordered to Refund Shs 204M

The Parliamentary committee on Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) has directed the Executive Director, Kampala Capital City Authority, Jennifer Musisi to refund 204 million shillings lost as a result of cancellation of a contract with a local company.
According to the Auditor General’s report for the year 2013/14, KCCA abruptly cancelled a contract with the company without a genuine reason forcing it to claim 204 million shillings in losses, something legislators say was uncalled for.
