Number of People Leaving Kenya Ahead of Elections Rises

Traffic from neighboring Kenya has dramatically increased in the past week as people flee the country ahead of Tuesday’s general elections. The Immigration department says the number of people leaving for Kenya has also reduced greatly. Meanwhile, the Uganda Red Cross Society has set up a shelter in Busia town to accommodate the fleeing Kenyans. More in this report.
