Out Growers Protest Sugar Bill

The Proposed sugar bill currently in Parliament, is worrying sugarcane out growers from Busoga. The out growers says the bill which intends to among other things set a minimum price for sugarcane, intends to force them out of business. These say that if it is passed in its current format, it will only protect the big industry players. Our reporter with the details
