CSOs Embark on Climate Change Bill

Civil society organizations have embarked on a campaign to draft the Climate Change bill through which it is hoped, uganda’s efforts to tackle the changing climate will be strengthened.
The Bill will help to coordinate action on climate change, increase awareness, funding of priority innervations and will also assist in resource mobilization from the donor community among others.
The organizations have hope that the law will be picked up by either government or a legislator and be tabled as a private members bill.
