Squabbles in the Sugar Industry

The proprietor of Atiak sugar factory Amina Hersi Moghe has launched a scathing attack on the three leading sugar factories in the country over allegedly importing sugar for resale. Amina claims that for years Kakira, Lugazi and Kinyara sugar factories have claimed they have the capacity to produce sugar all the while importing some of it to meet the demands.
