Police Grappling with Car Thefts

At least 600 cars are stolen from Uganda each year and taken to other countries in the region. According to the police the Democratic Republic of Congo remains one of the key destinations. As car- tracking firms devise a number of strategies to curb this vice, the police is urging motor vehicle owners to be vigilant and take extra precaution to secure their cars. Fatiah Nassali reports
