Kamuli Age Limit Removal Protest, Police Fires Live Bullets

Police in Kamuli district was forced to fire live bullets to disperse demonstrators who were launching the kogikwatako campaign, to protect and defend the Uganda’s constitution by opposing the proposed age limit removal. Led by Young democrat, Moses Bigirwa, the group carried placards expressing their dissatisfaction with the legislators proposing an amendment of Article 102(B.
