What Museveni's Threat to Sack Striking Doctors Means

The threat by President Museveni this week to have doctors on strike sacked may come to pass in 60 days. Reports indicate that those mandated to recruit medical workers have been put on alert awaiting the presidential directive. But while this may appear to be a sail through for government, there is another hurdle that government may find difficult to overcome, the recruitment of specialized health personnel.
