Group Petitions Government Over Extension

Concerned citizens led by Pius Kabiswa have petitioned the office of the attorney general over the recent decision by parliamentarians to extend their term of office from 5 to 7 years describing the move as illegal. The citizens in their petition have announced their intentions take legal action if the attorney general does not advice president Museveni against assenting to the Act.
