State minister for Health Sarah Achieng Opendi in a surprised move has condemned the decision to extend the tenure of parliament to seven years without consulting the electorate. Opendi says it was wrong for a section of Members of parliament to take decision on behalf of their voters yet they were voted for only five years. The minister made the call while addressing a congregation at Sacred Heart Church in Tororo during a mass to celebrate Christmas.
