World Bank Injects 2.5 Million Dollars in Oil and Gas Training

As a way of enabling Ugandans to tap into the oil and gas sector, the government of Uganda through the ministry of education and sports has entered into a partnership with Coventry University in Britain to offer training to Ugandans so that they can qualify for the available jobs in this new sector. The training, which will be hosted at Victoria University and Kichwamba Technical College has been funded by the World Bank to a tune of 2.5 million USD and will last for a period of 3 years.
