Eve of Schools Opening, Unlicensed Schools Remain Locked

Some of the 1,300 schools issued with closure notice by government, were by Sunday afternoon trying to do everything possible ahead of school opening tomorrow. Parents, pupils and students of the affected schools took time off to check whether the Education ministry had finally cleared their schools. But some school administrators even without clearance from the ministry, say all is well. NBS’ Richard Olwenyi visited two schools in Kisenyi that were closed for lack of latrines and now reports.
