Minister Kasaijja Survives Impeachment

The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has stopped the planned impeachment process of Finance minister Matia Kasiajaj over the missing 720 billion shilling, a loan that was meant for the procurement of drugs by Uganda Medical Stores. The speaker has referred the matter to the office of the Auditor General.
