Financial Inclusion Strategy Yet to be Roll-out – mobinet

While Bank of Uganda launched the national financial inclusion strategy 2017/2022, the strategy remains on paper. The strategy primarily targeted the rural population whose access to finances remain a challenge due to the high poverty levels, lack of banking institutions and access to mobile money services.
