UPDF Evicts School, Parents Battered

There was a stampede at Guardian Primary School in Jinja Municipality when UPDF officers stormed the school and ordered all pupils and teachers to vacate the school premises. Some of the parents who were taking their children to school were battered by heavily armed UPDF officers led by Col Patrick Baluku Kihuta. The UPDF claim ownership of the land where the school is located although there is a court injunction restraining them from eviction.
