Traditional schools in Acholi sub-region continue to limp as private owned schools shine at their expense. In the recently released UCE exams, Gov’t traditional schools that used to hold the pride of education in Acholi sub-region had less than 15 students in first grade on average. In recent years, these schools have been trailing in their performance as many parents now opt for private schools or Kampala based schools in search for better grades. Benson Ongom implores on the performance of traditional schools in Acholi region.
