Middle Income Status Quest Hardens

The ministers of finance met a very hostile reception in the committee of national economy as they struggled to convince mps to grant them approval to borrow domestically 736 billion shillings to stop a possible government shut down. The mps were irked by revelations that the money would be used to pay salaries and sort out arrears of Uganda national roads authority items that are under normal circumstances budgeted for at the beginning of the financial year.
