IGP Ochola Closes Nalufenya

The Inspector General of police Martin Okoth Ochola has ordered the immediate closure of the infamous Nalufenya Police facility, arguing it has tainted the good image of the police force.
Ochola who had appeared before the parliamentary committee on defense and internal affairs chaired by Mityana Woman MP Judith Nabakoba, told legislators that the order to close the detention Centre is being drafted by the Director of Legal Services of the force.
