Kitatta Denied Bail Over Police Connections

The general court martial has declined to release former Boda-Boda 2010 patron Abdallah Kitata fearing that he would use his influence within police to interfere with investigations and witnesses in his trial.
The court instead started hearing prosecution’s first witness who a CMI operative who told court that Kitatta alongside two of his co-accused were arrested with two pistols and an SMG gun which were all loaded with ammunition.
