Vote Tallying in Rukungiri Ongoing

Ballot tallying is currently underway in Rukungiri town following an election billed as largely calm and peaceful. Despite this, some pockets of violence and voter bribery were registered from both the NRM and FDC with 10 people including former MP Vincent Kyamadidi arrested for engaging in suspected electoral malpractice.
