Women Activists Demonstrate Against Kidnaps

Police has released 7 activists from the alternative Group following Mondays Coffin protest at parliament. The group was opposed to Police’s slow response to kidnaps, Rape and Murders on women was detained at Jinja Police station before their release this afternoon after a promise not to hold protests. The protests were spearheaded by FDC’s Sarah Eperu and Stella Nyanzi. The IGP has however pledged to give them audience- Canary Reports
