Oil and Gas: Oil and Gas Industry to Create 160,000 Jobs

With the growing demand for skilled manpower in the oil and gas sector, private and public vocational institutions have embarked on specialized trainings to meet the demands of oil companies. According to David Ilukor, the head of down-stream operations at the Uganda Petroleum Institute-Kigumba, the training being offered presents an opportunity to compete for the available jobs in the sector with imported labor.
