Dr. Stella Nyanzi Lashes Out at Police for Wanting to Investigate Women Activists

The Uganda Police is investigating the June 30th peaceful protest staged by the Women’s Protest Working Group. According to the Police deputy spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, the force is investigating a violation of the guidelines on the grounds that the activists allowed unauthorized persons to join in the procession. But the activists led by Dr. Stella Nyanzi have denied any wrongdoing. Richard Olweny reports.
