Uganda is now implementing a 32.7 trillion shillings’ budget, the biggest budget in the country’s history. Driven by the need to construct infrastructure to boost the country’s economic hopes. The biggest allocations have for the last four financial years favored the building of roads, dams, the railway and an oil refinery. But is the country’s budget being followed to the letter? Do the allocations do what they are meant to?
