Rugby Meets Royalty

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s subjects who love Rugby have got a weekend plot. As part of the celebrations ahead of the king’s 25th coronation, the Buganda Kingdom has partnered with the Rhino Rugby sevens tournament to form the coronation cup. This morning the kingdom’s Royal prince David Wasajja and the minister for sports in the mengo government Henry Ssekabembe confirmed their partnership with the fourth edition of the rhinos sevens as a way of promoting the sport in the kingdom. 12 men and four ladies’ teams will face off at the legends rugby grounds on Saturday competing for cash prizes, medals and trophies among other prizes.
