Securing the Country, Multi-billion CCTV Project Rolled out

The Uganda Police has begun plans to establish a USD.124 Million, approximately over UGX.45O Billion CCTV Project. Construction of the first Phase of the National Command Centre will commence in October this year and complete in July next year. The establishment follows President Yoweri Museveni’s directive to police to install closed-circuit television Cameras in major towns and high ways after the gruesome murder of Andrew Felix Kaweesi .
