The chief justice Bart Katurebe has called for a revision of laws that do not favor persons with disabilities. He was receiving the draft rules governing the procedure of handling cases involving persons with disabilities from the coalition on “Enhancing access to justice for persons with disabilities”. Katurebe noted that some laws are too old and therefore need amendment to enable them handle cases of persons with disabilities including structures that are inaccessible which obstructs justice.
