Kayihura Dragged to ICC

Victims of violations against humanity have petitioned the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute former IGP Kale Kayihura and a number other high ranking Ugandan and Rwandan police officers over forceful deportation, torture and murders of refugees and asylum seekers from Rwanda. In a document shared by the judiciary, the group says though some of the persons listed are facing trial in Uganda, there will be no justice since most of the accused are high ranking officers.
